Why the Mountains?
When two people separate or are in conflict, it can feel like they are in very different places. They see themselves each at the peak of distant mountains – isolated and a long way apart from each other – and so their focus becomes about the huge gap in between them. They are stuck. And children can be caught up in the middle of it all.
We work together to change that focus; to consider instead everything beneath the surface. Although less obvious and visible, it is very real and represents years of building and foundation. They have common ground through everything they have shared to date, including their children. And that will pave the way forward; a different way than initially envisaged, but there is a future.
